As Kombi production comes to a close after 56 years, VW Brazil has launched the VW Kombi Last Edition.
The Kombi Last Edition will be limited to just 600 units, and features exclusive two-tone white and blue paintwork and luxury interior finishes.
Each model will include a numbered plaque on the dashboard, as well as whitewall tyres, white wheel centre caps, tinted rear windows, body-coloured headlight surrounds, and white side decals.
The interior features blue fabric curtains for the side and rear windows, seats in special vinyl upholstery in matching blue and white two-tone, and dilour Basalto carpet to the cabin and luggage area.
The instruments follow the traditional Kombi design of a central speedo with fuel gauge to the right, but adds concessions to the modern day with an MP3 sound system.
Power comes from an EA111 1.4-litre engine developing 78PS at 4,800rpm, or 80PS when fuelled with ethanol, driving the wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
Each Kombi Last Edition will be provided with a certificate of authenticity.
