Volvo’s newest rufty-tufty models, the S60 and V60 Cross Country, are now available to order. Prices start at £30,195 for the V60 Cross Country, with the S60 kicking off at £33,695.
The V60 Cross Country is available in either SE or Lux trim grades, and with a choice of 150hp D3 or 190hp D4 diesel engines.
Volvo’s excellent D4 unit would be our choice, as it boasts identical economy and CO2 figures (67.3 mpg and 113 g/km) to the D3 and costs only £1,250 more.
The saloon-based S60 Cross Country, meanwhile, is only offered in Lux trim with the D4 engine, with CO2 emissions from 111 g/km and economy of up to 70.6 mpg for Geartronic models.
Both V60 and S60 feature 65mm additional ground clearance, front and rear skid plates, wheel-arch extensions and integrated tail-pipes.
Production of the new Cross Country models starts in May, with first deliveries expected in June.
