Toyota’s RAV4 range has been enlarged by a new Granite special edition model.
Based on the current 2.0-litre VVT-i XT3 model, the RAV4 Granite adds 17-inch nine-spoke alloy wheels shod with Pirelli tyres, chrome rear light protectors, chrome sidebars and a Granite logo mounted on the tailgate.
Inside, there are new carpet mats, aluminium scuff plates and a six-disc CD autochanger.
The RAV4 Granite is available in both three- and five-door versions, and is powered by Toyota’s 147bhp 2.0-litre petrol engine, driving all four wheels through either a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.
Standard RAV4 specification includes ABS with EBD, driver, front passenger and curtain shield airbags, front and rear electric windows, air conditioning, leather steering wheel and gearshift knob, front fog lamps, colour keyed bumpers with wide body styling and roof rails.
It is available in Cadmium Green (metallic), a new colour exclusive to the RAV4 Granite, along with Argenta Silver (metallic) and Astral Black.
On-the-road prices are £18,495 for the three-door model and £19,995 for the five-door. Automatic transmission costs an extra £1,000 and metallic paint is a £350 option.
