Toyota has introduced the Celica Blue, with additional kit and special trim.

On sale on from 1 September, both standard and Premium versions of the Celica Blue feature, in addition to the regular Celica specification: two-tone blue and granite leather upholstery and door inserts, a T Sport-style rear spoiler, signature ‘Blue’ badging, larger 12-spoke 17-inch alloy wheels with unique blue centre caps, and a Sony six-disc CD multichanger.

Celica Premium Blue models further benefit from a sunroof and climate control automatic air conditioning for just £500 more.

The cars are offered in Astral Black or optional Crystal Silver and Lagoon Blue metallic finishes.

Prices are £18,645 for the Celica Blue and £19,145 for the Celica Premium Blue.

Both Celica Blue models are powered by Toyota’s 140bhp 1.8-litre VVT-i engine, matched to a six-speed manual gearbox. Nought to 62mph can be dispatched in 8.7 seconds, with economy of up to 36.7mpg achievable on the combined cycle.
