The electric version of VW's up!, the e-up!, goes on sale on 2nd December with prices starting at £19,250 including the £5,000 Government grant. First deliveries are expected to start by the end of January.
Volkswagen has unveiled a hybrid version of its Up! city car. Dubbed the Twin Up! it uses a 0.8-litre two-cylinder turbo-diesel engine coupled with a 27kW electric motor, driving the front wheels through a seven-speed DSG gearbox.
