We were fans of the previous Citroen C4 Cactus, and we're not afraid to admit it. Not enough to buy one, though, and perhaps therein lies the problem. As a result, the company has responded with this, a new C4 Cactus, which seeks to tone down a little of the old car's overt Citroen-ness.
Citroen’s aim for the Cactus was to produce a car that takes the hassle out of modern-day motoring, offering not just a strong sense of design as demanded by today’s switch-on buyers, but also greater comfort, more useful technology and a low cost of ownership. Have they succeeded?

The new Citroen C4 Cactus is on sale now with prices ranging from £12,990 to £18,190. Based on the DS3 platform, the most striking element of the design is the protective panels on the doors.
Despite looking like a concept car, the Citroen C4 Cactus is apparently entirely production ready. Citroen's aims for the car were to produce something more 'useful' - both in terms of practicality but also efficiency.
