Suzuki has unveiled its new iV-4 concept SUV model at the Frankfurt motor show.
The design uses features reminiscent of other Suzuki models, such as a clamshell bonnet and five-slot grille, although the latter is illuminated on the iV-4.
The concept measures 4,215mm long, 1,850mm wide and 1,665mm tall, and wears 235/55 R20 tyres.
The iV-4 hints at the design of a new production model that is expected to be launched throughout Europe in 2015.
It is designed to be light in weight and with the lowest CO2 emissions in its class, yet will retain the company’s AllGrip four wheel-drive system making it an off-roader with an environmental conscience.
Suzuki say the concept, whose name is an abbreviation of Individuality Vehicle 4WD, is designed to be heavily customisable, with a variety of choices for exterior parts, colours, and textures.
The concept on show at Frankfurt is finished in Brilliant Turquoise Metallic, a colour specially created to match the colour of the sky reflected in skyscraper windows.
