The Subaru XV has received a £2,300 price cut across the range. The company says the reduction has been possible thanks to favourable currency exchange rates.
The cut means the Subaru XV range now starts from £18,995 for the 1.6 S model, rising to £27,925 for the 2.0i SE Lux Premium Lineartronic.
The Subaru XV was Switzerland’s best-selling car in August 2013, beating the VW Golf.
The pick of the range, the 2.0-litre Boxer diesel models, return 50.4mpg on the combined cycle with CO2 emissions of 146 g/km.
All models get 17-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, windscreen wiper de-icers, CD player, and a full complement of airbags. SE models add cruise control, folding door mirrors, dual-zone air conditioning, rear view camera, Bluetooth connectivity and rear privacy glass.
The price reduction takes effect from today – 1st July.
