Truckman, the UK’s leading manufacturer of hardtops for pick-ups, 4x4s and sports utility vehicles (SUVs) has launched a new range of hardtops, tonneau covers and loadliners for the new Nissan Navara.

The Navara, which replaces the Nissan D22 King Cab and Double Cab, is the first of a new generation of pick-up trucks which combine luxury and style with practicality and high specification, and forecast to become Nissan’s best selling 4×4.

Truckman, which has worked with Nissan for a number of years but is for the first time selling direct to dealers, has launched a comprehensive range of six products for the new Navara, which includes the 100XL luxury top, the 700 series tonneau cover, 100R budget top and the 180 semi-high roof, as well as its classic top and loadliners.

Mark Muschamp, managing director at Truckman said, “This is a fantastic opportunity for Truckman to broaden its range of products while also meeting the needs of both Nissan dealers and Nissan Navara owners.”

This launch also marks the beginning of a new distribution agreement with Leer, America’s largest hardtop manufacturer. Leer will be supplying Truckman with some of its hardtops for the Navara, enabling Truckman to continue to maintain its price competitive advantage, high quality standards and first class aftersales service.

100XL Luxury Hardtop

The 100XL is the top specification model designed for the new Navara. The hardtop features an advanced-design frameless rear door, lined interior and flush mount side windows. The hardtop also comes with custom fit design and no-drill installation. As with the 100R, DuPont automotive paint finish to match the vehicle comes as standard together with a three year colour and structure warranty.

Security is key for the 100XL. The hardtop features an extra strong twist handle and rotary latch system, as well as having the option of remote locking which works with the vehicle’s central locking. The hardtop also comes with a recessed third brake light, shadow black headliner and SUV-style rear flip out side windows.

700 Series Tonneau

In-keeping with Truckman’s ethos of innovation, the 700 comes with an easy to use twist handle and patented no-drill installation system. Safety is also a key feature with a SuperLift Assist system and child safety release as standard.  The 700 comes with a built in weather seal as well as a flex-seal along the front of the bed. The flex-seal forms a barrier to keep rain, snow and dirt from entering the truck bed when the tonneau is opened.

The 700 series tonneau also comes with an interior carpet headliner and DuPont automotive paint to match the vehicle, as well as having the option of remote locking which works with the vehicle’s central locking. As with all Truckman products, the 700 series comes with a three year warranty.

100R Budget Hardtop

Security, quality and style are key features of the 100R. The model features a fixed front window, recessed double T-handle rear door and 50/50 sliding windows with screen. DuPont automotive paint to match the vehicle comes as standard as does a three year colour and structure warranty.

180 Semi High Top

The 180 builds upon the features of the 100R by adding more than three inches to the ceiling height, enabling the 180 to carry more cargo, handle bulkier loads and provide added room for pets. Similar to the 100R, the 180 features a recessed double T-handle rear door, with a framed fixed front window. In contrast to the other models, the 180 features solid sides and DuPont automotive paint finish in white. As with the 100R and 100XL, the 180 comes with an insulated roof and three year colour and structure warranty. The 180 semi high top also comes with a recessed LED third brake light as standard.

Manufactured to the same specification and quality as the Nissan OE liner, the new Truckman Loadliner is designed to work with or without the new C-Channel system, and is a perfect fit, matching all the lines of the vehicle. All Loadliners are under-rail fitted and available for both Double-cab and King-cab pick-ups.

Classic Top

Having undergone a slight redesign to match the styling of the new Navara, the new classic top is due to be launched later in the year, and will be available for all cab variants.
