Honda has released photos of the new Jazz prototype that will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show next month, offering us an idea of how the new model will look when it arrives next year.

The new Jazz uses a completely new body shell that’s 15mm longer than the existing model, with a 30mm longer wheelbase.

As with the Civic and forthcoming HR-V, the new Jazz will continue to use the now familiar central fuel-tank layout that allows more versatile interior packaging.

As you’d expect, it will also continue to feature Honda’s Magic Seats.

The new Jazz, expected to arrive in the summer of 2015, will be powered by a new 1.3-litre i-VTEC petrol engine mated to either a six-speed manual or CVT transmission.

The new Jazz will make use of a new suspension system, and Honda claims it will offer greater refinement and a more comfortable ride as a result.
