The Mercedes-Benz G63 AMG 6×6 is an incredible show vehicle created by Graz and Mercedes AMG as an ultimate off-roader.

Although there are currently no plans to put the G63 AMG 6×6 into production, Mercedes say public response may change that.

Powered by a 5.5-litre biturbo V8 developing 544hp and 760Nm of torque, the six-wheeler has a top speed of just under 100mph.  Although at 3.85-tonnes, that might be a little scary.

The unique drive-train features full six wheel drive, portal axles for extra ground clearance, five differential locks, high- and low-range ratios, tyre pressure control system, 37-inch tyres and a special chassis design to help this extreme G Wagon to navigate the toughest terrain.

While much of this sounds unique, many of the parts come from existing derivatives of the G Class.

The twin rear axles, for instance, come from a version used by Australian army, while the heavy-duty front suspension springs come from the armoured protection version.

There’s still plenty of customisation, however, such integrated LED light strips above the windscreen, the flared wheel arches, and the load bed lined with durable bamboo.

The interior hasn’t been left untouched, either, with red or light brown leather seats with contrast stitching and quilting, plus Alcantara covering both the ceiling and pillars.
