Lexus LF-NX concept to debut 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine

The Lexus LF-NX concept, unveiled earlier this earlier at the Frankfurt motor show, will debut a new 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine when it is presented at the Tokyo show later this month.

The LF-NX shown at Frankfurt was powered by a 2.5-litre petrol engine mated to an electric motor, in true Lexus hybrid style.

Lexus hasn’t revealed the new engine’s output figures, however.

The exterior and interior design are identical to the Frankfurt concept, with sharp creases and a Predator-like grille, plus various touchpad surfaces in the cabin for controlling the car’s functions.
