Lexus will show the LF-X crossover concept and RX400h at this month’s motor show.
The LF-X (Lexus Future – Crossover) is a “fully realised concept vehicle that blends the robustness and street presence of an SUV with the dynamic lines of an advanced saloon.”
This is the first showing of the LF-X in the UK, and gives show-goers a glimpse of Lexus’ new design direction for future models. The new GS executive saloon, due here in 2005, is said to have been influenced by this new language.
Also showing is the RX400h, due on sale next year. It is the world’s first hybrid power SUV, with a combined petrol/electric power unit. The system has been designed to offer improvements not just in economy and emissions, but also performance and refinement.
