Hyundai has introduced an option-filled, limited edition version of its full-size people carrier, the Trajet SE.

Special features on the seven-seat Trajet SE include Hyundai’s ceiling-mounted DVD System, privacy glass, rear spoiler, alloy wheels and body coloured reversing sensors.

Fitting all these extras separately would cost around £2,000, yet the Trajet SE costs just £1,000 more than the GSI model on which it is based, with prices starting from just £16,495 on-the-road for the 2.0 litre petrol (manual), rising to £18,345 for the 2.0 CRTD diesel auto.

Like the GSI, among its many benefits the SE model features: height adjustable steering wheel, driver, passenger and side airbags, air-conditioning front and rear, heated electric door mirrors, electric windows, luggage net and hooks, remote central locking and alarm, stereo RDS/CD player and twin glove compartments.

Just 500 Trajet SEs will be available in a choice of three colours. As well as being available in either Warm Silver or Dark Blue metallic, at an additional cost of £295, the SE will also be the first Trajet to be available in solid Ebony Black.

The Trajet SE, which is on sale now, also comes with Hyundai’s unique and industry-leading five year unlimited mileage warranty which is fully transferable from owner to owner, as well as three years’ RAC cover and six years’ anti-perforation warranty.
