The Hyundai i30 is now available in a new range-topping model, powered by a 1.6-litre turbocharged petrol engine developing 186PS – enough to complete the 0-62mph sprint in 8.0 seconds dead.

All models in the i30 range feature a refreshed exterior design, with a new hexagonal grille, new alloy wheel designs, and three new exterior colours – Polar White, Orange Caramel and Jet Black.

The new i30 Turbo model wears additional sporty treatments such as the sportier LED running lights, accentuated grille and red detail line, twin exhausts and 18-inch alloy wheels.  On the inside, the i30 Turbo also features sports seats, a sportier instrument cluster, and red detailing on the steering wheel, gear knob and door trims.

Backing up the visual changes are sports-tuned suspension and more direct steering with just 2.78 turns lock-to-lock.

The i30 Turbo has a top speed of 136mph, CO2 emissions of 169 g/km and economy of 38.7mpg.

Other engine options for the i30 include a 1.4 petrol with 100PS, a normally-aspirated 1.6 with 120PS, and a pair of 1.6-litre diesels with 110PS and 136PS.

The 110PS diesel model boasts CO2 emissions of just 94 g/km and economy of 78.5mpg.

A new seven-speed dual-clutch transmission is available on both diesel models and the 120PS 1.6 petrol.

All i30 models come with a five-year unlimited mileage warranty.
