Known as the Vezel in Japan and teased late last year, Honda has confirmed that its new small SUV will be coming to Europe as the HR-V, a nameplate previously used on a three-door 4×4 until 2006.

The new HR-V will make its official debut at the Paris Motor Show next month.

Honda says the HR-V features a centrally-mounted fuel tank to allow for maximum interior packaging flexibility, and that the new model will include the company’s ‘Magic Seats’ that fold completely flat for maximum practicality.

The Honda HR-V is expected to go on sale in the UK during the summer of 2015.
