Ford has added a sporty new ST-Line model to its popular Kuga range. It will go on sale on 1st September, priced from £25,845.
The Kuga ST-Line features gloss black and honeycomb grille treatments, body-colour skid plates, side skirts, door handles and mirrors, wheel-arch and door cladding, plus gloss black rear skid plate, black roof rails, tinted front and rear lights and privacy glass.
Rounding out the exterior changes are a choice of either gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels with a machined surface, or a full-black 19-inch design.
Inside, the seats feature a sportier shape in partial leather with contrasting stitching, a two-layer metallic-effect ‘deep space’ paint on the centre console, and black headlining.
The changes are more than cosmetic, though – the Kuga ST-Line makes use of stiffer suspension bushes, retuned spring and damper rates, and a recalibrated power steering system for a sportier drive.
Engine choices start with 1.5-litre units in both petrol and diesel guises with identical 120PS power outputs. The diesel is expected to offer economy of up to 64.2 mpg and emissions of 115 g/km, while the petrol achieves 45.6 mpg and emits 143 g/km.
More powerful versions of both are also available with 150PS, while a 180PS AWD version of the 2.0-litre TDCi is also offered.
The new Ford Kuga ST-Line goes on sale in the UK on 1st September, priced from £25,845.
