At the German Touring Car Masters (DTM) season finale at Hockenheim, a rather special car took to the track.
An Audi RS7 with a striking monochromatic livery yet otherwise almost identical to the production version executed a perfect lap of the famous Hockenheim ring.
The car used full power where possible, experienced over 1.3 g during braking, and 1.1 g lateral acceleration in the corners.
It reached speeds of nearly 150mph and completed the lap in a little over two minutes.
On the face of it, none of this sounds particularly interesting. Your opinion might change when you see who was driving.
