The Suzuki Vitara nameplate will make a come-back later this year when the company unveils its new small SUV, based on the iV-4 concept of last year.
The reveal will take place at the Paris Motor Show on 2nd October.
It marks the return of the Vitara name, first used over 25 years ago, but which has morphed in recent years into the Grand Vitara.
The new Vitara will arrive in the UK next spring, and will feature the company’s well-regarded AllGrip four-wheel-drive system mated to both petrol and diesel engines.
Suzuki says a wide range of customisation options will be available to allow owners to personalise their Vitara to their own tastes.
More details will be forthcoming at the Suzuki Vitara’s official unveiling on 2nd October.
