The Kia Venga range has been refreshed for 2015, with new exterior styling, updated interiors, and revised equipment levels.

The 2015 Venga is on sale now in the UK in five grades (1, 1 Air, 2, 3 and a new 4 model) with prices starting from £11,995.

The Venga has been given sporter front bumpers and the company’s new ‘tiger nose’ grille, as well LED running lights on mid-range models and above.

The rear also sees a re-profiled bumper, a new chrome strip linking the rear lights, with LED illumination on the top-of-the-range models, along with chrome door handles.

Two new metallic paint finishes are also available – Planet Blue and Dark Gun Metal – replacing Space Blue and Sirius Silver, while new alloy wheel designs feature on all but the base model.

Inside, entry-level models benefit from new upholstery, while some models receive a new grey metal grain paint finish for the centre console trim.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring is now standard across the range, along with automatic headlights on grades 3 and 4.

Top-spec Venga 4 models feature Kia’s smart key system, plus a heated steering wheel.  Venga 3 and 4 models have heated seats, panoramic sunroof, 7-inch touch-screen navigation system, and a reversing camera, although the CD slot has been removed – Aux and USB ports are still available, however.

The engine range is carried over largely unchanged, with two petrol engines in the form of an 89hp 1.4-litre and a 123hp 1.6, plus an 89hp 1.4-litre diesel and a 114hp 1.6-litre version.  Transmissions are five- and six-speed manuals as standard, with a four-speed auto an option on the 1.6-litre petrol unit.

Economy ranges from 64.2 mpg for the 1.6 diesel to 43.5 mpg for the 1.6 petrol auto, while CO2 emissions range from 117 – 154 g/km.

Prices start at £11,995, with the range-topping Venga 4 1.6-litre petrol priced at £18,385.

All models come with Kia’s seven-year, 100,000-mile warranty, transferable to subsequent owners.
