The new 2015 Ford Focus will be priced from £13,995 – the same as the outgoing model – when it goes on sale in the UK this November.
Some models, such as the top-of-the-range Titanium and Titanium X, will in fact cost £100 less than their predecessors.
Six grades will be offered, starting with the £13,995 Studio, and progressing through Style from £16,795, Zetec from £18,295, Zetec S from £20,045, Titanium from £19,795 and Titanium X from £21,795.
Engine options include a new 1.5-litre EcoBoost unit with 182PS and 270Nm of torque that beats the previous 1.6-litre unit’s economy by 7% and reduces emissions to 127 g/km.
A new 1.5-litre diesel with 120PS, meanwhile, offers a 10% improvement in economy with CO2 emissions that fall from 109 to 98 g/km.
The new Focus is the first Ford to feature the company’s new Perpendicular Parking system that can steer the car into parking spaces automatically.
Also available will be Ford’s Active City Stop, Traffic Sign Recognition, Blind Spot Information System, Cross Traffic Alert and Park Out Assist which helps steer the vehicle out of a parking space.
The new Ford Focus will arrive in dealerships this November.
