The Lexus GS 300h hybrid is available to order now, with prices starting from £31,495. The current V6 petrol-powered GS 250 is being withdrawn at the same time.
The GS 300h boasts combined cycle economy from 60.1mpg and CO2 emissions from 109g/km, placing it in VED Band B.
Four models will be available, starting with the SE which is expected to include 17-inch alloy wheels, 10 airbags, electric steering wheel adjustment, 12-speaker DAB hifi, cruise control, parking sensors, HID headlights, and heated front seats. Options will include Lexus Premium Navigation with a 12.3-inch display and leather upholstery.
The Luxury trim level adds leather seats, navigation, 18-inch alloy wheels, Blind Spot Monitor, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.
The F Sport features a tweaking of the styling, plus perforated leather sports seats, 19-inch alloy wheels and Adaptive Variable Sports Suspension.
The top-of-the-range Premier model benefits from a 17-speaker Mark Levinson hifi system, 18-way electric front seat adjustment with memory, colour head-up display, and LED fog lights.
The Lexus GS 300h is available to order now, with first deliveries expected in January 2014.
