Style-conscious owners of Daihatsu's funky new Materia mini-MPV now have a stunning range of accessories to choose from.
It means one of the UK's most distinctive new cars can be either personalised into a custom car look-alike or simply enhanced with practical items such as traditional tow-bars and cycle/ski carriers.
Priced from £10,995 on-the-road, the 1.5 litre five-door belongs to a style of car already attracting a cult following in both Japan and the United States.
Its boxy yet wide and squat design liberates outstanding interior space within dimensions similar to the Vauxhall Meriva and Renault Modus.
Now, owners can upgrade with items such as 17 ins alloy wheels with 205/40 tyres at £240 each, further enhanced by a 20 mm spring-lowering kit for £120.
Other exterior enhancements include a colour-coded rear spoiler at £200, steel lower mesh grille for £100 and twin exhaust at £270 (excluding fitting but including VAT).
Full leather interior trim in a variety of colour combinations is available for £1,050 (fitted), while other options include a cargo net for £32.50 and cycle carrier at £45.00.
