A stylish three-door version of Chevrolet's new Aveo supermini will make its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.

The newcomer will join the five-door Aveo, first seen at last year's Frankfurt Show, in the UK later this year - the five-door arrives in May, and the three-door the following month.

It will also be built in Europe - Chevrolet's new production facility in Warsaw, Poland, is about to begin full-scale production of the Aveo, which is expected to become Chevrolet's best-selling model line across Europe over the next 12 months.

Power will come from a 1.2-litre engine developing a healthy 84PS, with CO2 emissions of 132g/km. Further details of the car's UK specification and pricing will be available nearer the time.
