The new Ford EcoSport will go on sale in the UK in spring 2014, and to celebrate, Ford has created a special limited edition model that it is launching through Facebook.
Only 500 Limited Editions will be available in Europe, with just 120 examples coming to the UK.
Based on the Titanium model, the limited edition models include the Titanium X Pack, plus rear parking sensors, Panther Black metallic paint, Ford Sync AppLink and up to three free apps.
The choice of apps and subscription duration will be announced later this month, but will include 12 months of unlimited audio book downloads through Audioteka.
The Ford EcoSport Limited Edition is priced from £16,995 with a choice of either 125PS 1.0-litre EcoBoost petrol engine or 91PS 1.5-litre diesel.
Away from the limited edition model, a 1.5-litre petrol engine developing 112PS will also be available. Emissions for the 1.5-litre petrol are 149g/km, with the EcoBoost and 1.5 diesel models emitting 125g/km and 120g/km respectively.
The Ford EcoSport will be available in the UK as a Titanium model, with only four options: metallic paint, parking sensors, Ford Sync with AppLink and the Titanium X Pack. The latter adds leather seats, 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, automatic lights and wipers, and automatic dimming rear view mirror.
Prices for the EcoSport range start from £14,995 and run to £17,495.
